To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Beating Hodgkin’s Disease I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease at the age of 39. I had a lump in my neck for a couple of months, but did not have any other symptoms. However, as soon as I had a chest xray, it revealed a 9 inch tumor in my chest. My treatment entailed 6 chemotherapy treatments and 6 weeks of radiation. My Doctor’s staff always asked me how I could be smiling and so positive when I was coming in for Chemo Little did they know everytime I went in for treatment, I was actually looking forward to it. For me I was anxious to get every one of them done. I would like to encourage anyone going through treatment to remain positive !! I truly believe that my faith, which gave me a positive attitude is why I survived. Comments
