NHL

by: Janice P. on Mon, Aug 25 2008

I was diagnosed in 1999 with NHL I had a tumour on my thyroid and one in my head. I had intense weekly chemo for 20 weeks, 6 lumbar punctures and 4 weeks radiotherapy. I was given the all clear in the May of 2000 and fingers crossed am still clear. Think positive through it all and you will come out ok the other end. I am still the talk at the hospital as i was a unique case and they say I should not be here today. Since then i had a daughter 2 years ago.
